My 51st recipe, “Ginger Cardamom Chai”, one of the most consumed beverages in the world and my absolute favorite. When growing up my mother always made me drink Complan as hot beverage. Yes, I am a complan girl 🙂 I never liked the taste of it though. Only sometimes, she used to give me tea. It used to be only a kind of special occasion beverage for me 🙁
Days have rolled over and now-a-days, I always start my day with a refreshing cup of hot tea. These days they tend to add all kinds of spices to the tea packets. So I like the tea the way it is, simple and refreshing. But I will always like to add ginger and cardamom to make this extra special chai, which I absolutely adore. Though it is a very simple recipe, wanted to post it now, since there is no better beverage to keep yourself warm in this cold winter weather. Always a trustworthy drink to fight off the nagging cold and keep you energetic throughout the day.
